Transportation Director

The Judge Group, Inc. is currently is search of a Transportation Director
for a foodservice distribution facility located in the Northeast. This
multi-million dollar Distribution Center is looking for an experienced
Transportation Director who is hands-on and is able to handle a high volume
facility that moves 110,000-150,000+ cases a week. This facility runs
Monday through Friday, however the shift could run Tuesday through Saturday
depending upon the situation. You will have salaried employees reporting to
you, including a Transportation Manager, 3-4 Transportation Supervisors and
a total of about 200 drivers. The Director will report to the Vice
President or General Manager of Operations, so excellent interpersonal
skills are required. This is an excellent opportunity with a Great Staring
Salary and a BONUS POTENTIAL of up to 50% of your Base Salary for

The qualified candidate's most recent experience MUST BE as a strong
Transportation Manager or Transportation Director for a foodservice or
grocery distribution company. The company is seeking someone out of a
non-union background. The candidate MUST HAVE multi unit/contract
systems transportation management experience. Degreed candidates are
preferred for this position, however candidates possessing the right
experience and skill set will be given equal consideration. Hands-on
experience is necessary. The candidate for the Transportation Director
position must have experience managing other and have excellent
