The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and making recommendations to optimize system inventories. The position will also be knowledgeable of materials, including the application of the product and supplier availability. The position will be responsible for ensuring that Supply Chain activities comply with client inventory related accounting policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Responsible for material request screening to ensure that documents are complete and comply with site policies and procedures. Responsible for inventory control including cataloging and coding items to material identification guidelines. Responsible for activation of inventory items. Responsible for material coordination activities between the client and Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will have the required qualifications and experience, as well as a service provider mentality, teaming and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of and ability to apply demand based inventory management techniques for optimization of inventory.Possess a broad knowledge of warehouse techniques and storage practices.Have an understanding of client supply chain related accounting policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirments.Ability to communicate Supply Chain data and processes to client planning systems, as well as, communicate client priorities to responsible parties in the supply chain.Have the ability to understand and utilize the overall capabilities of Supply Chain electronic tools to facilitate the procurement process.Have the ability to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.Knowledgeable of supply chain specific databases and electronic tools.Have the ability to communicate effectively; listening, verbal, writing, and electronic communication skills.Conducts all business activities with the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
