The Supervisor, Distribution Center provides guidance and leadership to a business unit of non-exempt associates to ensure the accomplishment of the departmental and distribution center's overall goals.Must possess ability to:Provide leadership to 25 - 60 non-exempt hourly associates.
Make effective product flow decisions under the direction of the Manager.
Positively impat levels of service and cost on the Distribution Center's operation plans.
Meet company budget and cost structure goals.
Demonstrate effective communication skills with associates in a variety of business functions.
Use decisive problem-solving abilities to achieve results.
Maintain a positive team environment.

REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor's degree in Transportation & Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management or related area of study.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
One to three years experience in physical Distribution Management in high volume, fast paced seasonal or heavily promoted businesses.
Independent third party P&L and customer service based experience preferred.
Prior demonstrated experience working with or actively without union workers.
KnowleDistribution Requirements Planning (DRP), Transportaiton and Retail Management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work within a team environment.
Familiarity with government regulations including Customs, FDA, OSHA, and HazMat needed in operating Distribution Centers.dge of and some experience with Execution Systems including Demand Planning, Sourcing, Production Planning/ Scheduling (MRP),
Ability to identify potential regulatory issues.
