Staff Accountant - DIRECT HIRE - Great company

Seeking an experienced Staff Accountant with at least 4-7 years of related experience for this Direct Hire Permanent position for a great company with great benefits from day one!Job PurposePerform accounting functions to ensure the accuracy of the Company’s General Ledger and Financial Statements.Major duties and responsibilities•Perform month-end close which includes reviewing and posting all inventory related automated journal entries. Prepare of journal entries for inventory usage variances, shipping accruals and variance close-outs. Review and post divisional journal entries. Review Divisional Financial Statements for accuracy.•Review Divisional Financial Statements for variances and writing financial notes. Complete CSS sales system to margin reconciliations to General Ledger.•Reconcile and analyze all inventory in-transit and payable accounts. Prepare any adjusting journal entries.•Reconcile and analyze various General Ledger accounts. Prepare any adjusting journal entries.•Provide support for Divisional Controllers and accounting personnel. Answering questions, resolving issues and serving as a resource for accounting procedures and policies. Act as a liaison between the divisions and HQ.•Others projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Pre-requisites:•MUST HAVE a Bacherlor's Degree (Accounting or Finance related)•At least 4-7 years of experience in a related field with some in the manufacturing industry.•Through knowledge of accounting principles and practices• Effective professional verbal and written communication skills with attendtion to detail to perfom accurately.•Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
