Opportunity: We are a highly respected leader in the piping, valves, and fittings industry, have been for almost 70 years, and plan to be for another 70 years. We seek responsible people to hire as Full-Time members of our Distribution Team located at One Merit Drive, Richmond Heights, Ohio 44143. We have openings on 1st and 2nd shifts.
Responsibitilies: Process all inbound and/or outbound orders safely, accurately & productively.
Rewards: Start $10.26 per hour, $10.76 after successful 90 day review, semiannual performance reviews, and annual pay reviews. Company paid holidays, vacation, medical, dental, vision, prescription, disability, and life insurance. 401k Savings Plan with company match.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED. Basic reading, writing, and math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to measure to the nearest 1/16" of an inch. Excellent work habits, punctuality, attendance, and ability to work 40 to 50 hours per week. Close attention to detail a must. Ability to learn product identification system for 8,500+ products. Ability to learn basic computer skills including inquiry, alpha numeric data entry, bar code scanning, and operate material handling equipment. Physical ability commensurate with specific functions and ability to use proper lifting techniques. Ability to work safely, accurately, and productively in a fast-paced, changing environment. Capacity to work in a continuous improvement environment. Willing to continue to improve yourself, others, and operations.
