San Jose, CA - This position is responsible for being involved in the daily operation of the Shipping Department by maintaining needed supplies, packing of all products, and processing all shipments on computer or manual documentation. Responsible for inspecting orders for packing list and verification of completeness. Packs all orders or requests for shipping, in a safe and efficient manner to guard against damage during shipment.Verifies shipping mode for each shipment before shipping and assigning order to conveyor line as deemed. Performs data entry of order record numbers to access correct PKMS records to ensure processsing of exact pick slip/order. Maintains an organized work area throughout the day by palletizing or racking completed orders as designated. Verifies all shipments are accounted for with carrier labels before releasing to carriers. Generates carrier manifest for daily shipping totals at the end of the day. Operates all material handling equipment in a safe manner at all times. Performs other duties as assigned. EOE M/F/D/V.

REQUIREMENTS
(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED) A minimum of 6 months experience in a shipping and receiving environment is required. Computer experience is preferred. Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions. Forklift experience preferred. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds. Must be a high school graduate or possess the equivalent education.
