Sales Manager –Channel / Distributions

A dynamic and fast growing global provider of high performance, high quality memory products such as digital flash media cards, USB 2.0 flash disks, card readers and adaptors is seeking a Sales Manager with proven sales management experience in retail channels and distributions. The ideal candidate is to develop and manage accounts in consumer electronics, wireless, and photo channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop new accounts (retailer and distribution), and set up long term business relationships in photo and photo channels.
Identify leads through trade shows, cold calling, and other resources. Qualify new opportunities, follow through, and close deals.
Maintain existing mass retailer or distribution accounts, develop and execute sales and marketing plan to maximize revenue and brand awareness.
Develop and manage sales rep networks for expanding into new retail channels.
Provide sales training sessions to resellers and reps.
Plan and execute an effective channel sales plan to meet or exceed established sales objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in channel sales.
Good understanding of wireless, photo, and/or consumer electronics channels.
Knowledge of project management or marketing helpful.
Proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
Self Motivated: independent, focused, and results driven.
Good people skills and a team player
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Extensive account/program management experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Travel: Within North America
