Job Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for the planning and execution of day to day operations for a subset of the fulfillment center's processes. Oversees two or more operations in the fulfillment process. Engages in planning, leading, and coaching other salaried managers in meeting their operational objectives and service levels.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Inpartnership with HR selects, trains, supervises, coaches and counsels team members to avoid and resolve problems and maintain positive morale.

Develops, monitors, and revises department operating budgets under the direction of the General Manager.

Establishes performance standards, then audits, evaluates, and reviews team member job performance.

Ensures accurate movement and processing of product within designated budgetary constraints and customer service level expectations.

Evaluates the effectiveness of, and recommends, alternatives for work methods, procedures, controls and staffing to achieve accurate and timely movement and processing of product.

Conducts special projects and tasks as directed by the General Manager or other senior leadership members.

NATURE AND SCOPE
Typically reports to General Manager Fulfillment Center

Accountable for the management of a department or functional group through subordinate supervisors/managers and for all personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.

Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age
Must pass the Drug Test
Must pass the Background Check
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
Experience in a D2C operation with non-union labor.

Analytical skills leading to the ability to understand all financials of the IDC

Excellent communication skills

Exposure and understanding of piece picking and B2C warehousing strategies.
