Routers - Heating Oil Trucks using UPS RoadnetBurns and McBride, Inc., a leader in the oil delivery and HVAC industry, is currently accepting resumes for our Logistics Department for Routers at our headquarters in New Castle, Delaware. Select candidates will be responsible for the successful day-to-day routing of heating oil trucks using UPS Roadnet and company dispatch software.Additional responsibilities include:• The scheduling of all fuel deliveries utilizing company procedures and software programs while seeking to maximize delivery and operational efficiencies.• The preparation and completion of all fuel oil driver packets, including delivery tickets, driver directions, manifests, maps and money bags.
• Updating customer accounts, including special delivery instructions and contacting customers with delivery problems or issues.
• Completing the above duties under a timeline while maintaining maximum efficiency with minimal to no errors.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements:• 1-2 years dispatching or similar work experience
• Associate’s or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication and planning skills
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency with MS Office and data entry
• Ability to work as part of a team• Ability to work a rotating schedule that will include weekends in the busy season
