Role Architect - Supply Chain
The Role Architect maintains the security framework for the functional organization and ensures that security roles are established by the process organization correctly. This Role Architect is responsible for analyzing job family/individual movements to resolve any negative access impacts with the assistance of HR/Compensation, and Security. The Role Architect must analyze access points to identify possible improvements (Processes, Security, Job Changes with HR, etc.) that will affect the organization and work directly with leadership to help deliver business improvement initiatives.
Serves as the primary liaison between the Functional Organization, Change Management, and Security (heavily) to ensure all parties fully understand the security and access impacts within functional organization and manage the expectations of business stakeholders.
Analyze access issues where business structure/operating procedures do not align with the overall security framework.
Work with various areas of the business to understand impacts (Controls, HR/Comp, Internal Audit, and functional organization).
Propose and assist with implementation of necessary changes to the landscape with functional leadership team.
Assist functional leaders launching projects that require edits to roles and plant assignments.
Educate functional leaders up-front to system constraints and consideration.
Proactively address all access points throughout the project lifecycle by making any necessary changes to role design.
Communicate key learning and best practices related to access for future process improvements.
Troubleshoot and process all access issues related to role mapping, timeline of HR Changes, portal issues, process issues, etc.
Maintain security roles for the functional organization ensure that all relationships between roles and assigned transactions are accurate.
Actively seek opportunities to improve process where by cycle time, defects, or cost are reduced.
Coordinate all changes to security roles and oversee the process from end-to-end to ensure risk is reduced.
Maintain the job families within the functional organization.
Maintain the job to family relationship and work with Compensation/HR to ensure the right resources are slotted in the correct families for responsibilities and access.
Analyze job movements across the organization on an ongoing basis to address impacts to security role mapping.
Maintain and analyze security role to job family relationships on an ongoing basis.
Lead efforts with HR/Comp and/or Security by determining ways to minimize manual work with possible role changes (transactional or otherwise).
Support business changes through role mapping.
Maintain manual mappings that cannot be managed through job families on a daily basis.

REQUIREMENTS
-Demonstrated experience in process improvement design and implementation
-Demonstrated the ability to quickly learn, become competent in, and effectively apply new skills.
-Demonstrated great attention to detail and follow-through on detail.
-Ability to take actions on objectives with limited supervision
-Working knowledge of segregation of duties (SoD) concepts and associated risk to the organization
-Understands SAP or other ERP security concepts, or willingness to learn
-Understands key Supply Chain functions, or willingness to learn
-Bachelors degree in Business Areas or Information Services is preferred
-Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
-Strong interpersonal skills.
