Returns Intern

Avon Products, Inc, the world’s leading direct seller of beauty and related products, is offering a Fall/Winter internship in the National Returns Processing Center, located in Springdale, OH. Candidates will work on a variety of projects, including: developing best practices and standards for a work area, re-layout of a work area to optimize flow and eliminate waste, and 5S project lead.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will have the following skills:
Pursuing degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering - 2yrs completed college studies preferred
Be proficient in Time Studies – MOST (Maynard Operating Sequence Technique) is a plus
Experience with Lean Manufacturing skills and tools
Knowledgeable in Process Mapping
Must have Project Management and Root Cause Analysis skills
Must have strong Microsoft skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Candidates must have initiative and desire to succeed
