Rep - Indirect Distribution
Performance Management: Implement and monitor regional sales and incentive programs designed to drive Retailer productivity and meet or exceed established Key Performance Indicators. Audit agent/retailer sales results and KPI's to identify areas of opportunity to improve results on revenue growth, customer growth and churn reduction. Consult with Retail Leadership to implement location specific action plans for improvement. Communicate sales program results/effectiveness to the field. Remain abreast of key differences between VZW and competitor products and services, and communicate VZW competitive advantages to agents/retailers. Train, coach and educate Retailer employees on VZW competitive advantages, products and services, promotions, methods and procedures, and point-of-sale ordering systems. Provide both formal and one-on-one training sessions to ensure that agent/retailer store quotas are met and exceeded.
Merchandising / Collateral: Ensure that all merchandising and collateral is in compliance with company standards that position VZW as the industry leader. Audit to ensure that all signage, brochures, pamphlets, etc. are displayed properly. Coach Retailer management and staff regarding importance of compliance measures and initiatives. Communicate promotions to agents/retailers, and drive VZW key performance objectives.
In-Store Sales Support: Participate in agent / retailer store grand openings and special events. Observe store personnel's sales techniques and customer interaction, and coach employees on VZW selling strategies.
Customer Retention: Maintain and grow existing customer base and manage churn.
Job Requirements
High School diploma required.
Some College preferred.
1-3 years of sales, marketing, training, and/or customer service experience preferred.
Evenings and weekends as required.
Prior experience in the wireless industry a plus.
PC proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, presentation and communication skills are required.
The ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
This position requires extensive travel throughout the assigned region.
A valid driver's license, good driving record, and proof of insurance is required.
