Regional Dir of Operations-Minneapolis/ St.Paul

The Regional Director of Operations is accountable to the Regional Vice President for: overseeing the day to day compliance of all G&K regional operating personnel within company operating policies and procedures; translating the company vision and strategy into a regional operating strategy and implementation plan; providing specialized operating focused input to all operations; monitoring the quality assurance system within the field operations; building and maintaining a network and liaison function with customers and the field operating organization; providing a high level of technical engineering support ; reviewing the capital budget plan for the region ; overseeing continuous improvement efforts required to expand core processing capabilities; identifying threats, opportunities, trends, to existing processes; ensuring that all plant support staff are properly trained; and for analyzing plant operating efficiencies and making appropriate recommendations to improve regional operations.Requirements:A BA/BS degree in operations management/engineering or a related field. Masters degree is preferred. In lieu of this, some combination of undergraduate education and work experience.Six to ten years of operation management or related experience, with a minimum of three or more years of experience in operations and/or productions processing. Must have knowledge of facilities equipment, operations and management.Competent in Microsoft Applications and effective in critical analysis.Knowldege of or certification in Six Sigma a plus!!
