COMPANY SUMMARY
Work for a Northern New Jersey area company that serves the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Instrumentation, Environmental, Agriculture and Life Science Industries.


RESPONSIBILITIES
* Basic Function: Perform receiving Inspection of purchased parts and raw materials
* Prepare required inspection reports
* Perform First Piece and in-process audits when work load dictates
* Perform First Article Inspection of new vendor parts as assigned by QA Manager
* Perform monthly calibration on equipment
* Maintain proper documentation as required per procedures
* Process customer returns into system
* Perform additional duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager
REQUIREMENTS
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
* 2+ years working experience
* Good communication and interaction skills a must
* Able to properly use standard inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, gages etc)
* Able to assume a role of instructor
* Able to read drawings and understand basic geometric tolerancing - GD&T
* Knowledge of SPC a plus
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 a plus
* Knowledge of CMM a plus
* Basic computer skills using Word and Excel
* Able to follow written work instructions
* Ability to work under minimal supervision
* Attention to detail a must
