Project Specialist - Print and Distribution Department

Project Specialist - Print and Distribution Department

We are looking for an outgoing team player who is deadline and detail-oriented and willing to go the extra mile. The ideal candidate will have print and distribution experience with successful previous experience building internal and external relationships.

The Project Specialist will coordinate projects from inception through delivery to Field. The core responsibilities will include preparing project plans, timelines and budgets and managing communications with the design team, vendors and internal customers.

Typical responsibilities include:

- Serve as primary point of contact for internal clients.
Arrange team meetings.
Define and guide team expectations regarding scope of work and responsibilities.
Assess impact of changes in scope on timeline and budget relationship to ensure project success.
Generate weekly status reports and project schedules.
Track project budgets.
Develop vendor quotes and/or relationships.
Secure freelance resources as needed.
Ensure shipments to field arrive as scheduled.

Requirements:

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with fast-paced creative project cycles.
Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
Ability to accurately estimate and scope development work.
Ability to manage and track resources against budget.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).
Self-motivation and ability to initiate and sustain projects.
Ability to effectively interact in team environment and serve as a resource to colleagues.
Ability to work well as a team member on large projects and an understanding of how the team operates and what is expected of the various roles on the project.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
