Project Manager-Transportation/Logistics

Our client, who is in the fastest growing market in the US,and in the early stages of a new operation is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality professional to help lead and drive improvements in quality performance in our newest manufacturing facility. The Supplier Quality Engineer will support the department through:
-Vendor qualification and audits
-Process audits and monitor quality improvement plans
-Product validation
-Weekly travel throughout the US and Canada (60% travel)
-ISO 9000 Knowledge- must have experience leading audits
-A great deal of client interface is involved; consulting skills a plus
-Internal and external customers interaction.
Knowledge of International and UL standards
-2 to 5 years of experience
-salary range= 50 to 60k
REQUIREMENTS
Global and national supplier standards
2 year technician certification(quality or electric) ok.
Electrical Engineering degree would be nice
3-5 years experience
