MK 48 Heavy Weight Torpedo Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) facility, located in Pearl Harbor , Hawaii ,There is a current need for aProduction Control Coordinator (Team Leader II)Job Description:
Supports production, and other processes in a team-based torpedo production environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including safety, production planning and control, quality, equipment, and material management. The incumbent may facilitate work teams, provide training in "core skill" areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers. This position will report to the production manager. In this capacity will monitor all aspects of production status, update daily reports, verify schedule is maintained and correct work is in process with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Provide coverage for the production manager during absences. Will ensure correct charge numbers are used and correct process is deployed. Will identify shortfalls and communicate those expeditiously.Required Education:
Minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceBasic Qualifications:
4-6 years directly related experience including 4 years of demonstgrated successful leadership of teams and managing performance.
Meticulous attention to detail, able to accurately review documents and inventories.
High level of proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, especially the Excel data base.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to multi task and prioritize by working through capacity conflicts.
The ability to make decisions and influence others both within and outside the assigned work group.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including expressing ideas in public forums.
Ability to obtain an interim secret clearance within 30 daysDesired Qualifications:
