Location: Plainfield, IL

Chemical distribution company needs an engineer/logistics professional for continuous site/procedural improvement. Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing experience a plus. This position will lead to becoming a facility manager.
Responsibilities:Support Six Sigma/lean manufacturing team projectsSupply chain managementEnvironmental & safety complianceSupervise capital construction improvementsImprove delivery & shipping efficiency for chemical bulk businessProvide technical training and audit support

Qualified Candidate:
2 - 7 years experienceEngineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial)Process engineering background -- preference in chemical/petroleum industry (HazMat)Process and/or facility auditsKnowledge of DOT, HazMat, OSHA, and EPA regulationsComputer literacy with Microsoft productsMust be a US citizen or Permanent Resident Green Card holder
