Part Time Package Handler - UPS

We are looking for Part Time candidates seeking work in a physical, fast-paced environment at locations across the country.


Job Description:


This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering and sliding packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs.

Part-time employees usually work 3 ½ - 4 hours each weekday (Monday through Friday) and typically do not work on weekends or selected holidays.

Please note that these opportunities are part-time only working approximately 17 1/2 – 20 hours per week.

Package Handlers receive an hourly rate of $8.50 – $9.50.

Part-Time Package Handlers must possess the energy, cognitive ability, and motivation to provide support to the first class worldwide shipping and package delivery service that UPS has to offer.

Candidates must possess the ability to demonstrate the following:

Follow directions and routines

Perceive spatial awareness

Identify and read words, package markings, and zip codes

Concentrate, memorize, and recollect logical connections and sequences

Must be physically able to continuously bend, stoop and lift packages that typically weigh 25 -35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs.

Must work in an outdoor environment with variable temperatures and weather conditions

Must be able to read words and numbers.
