Packaging Technician

Purpose: Aerotek Contract Engineering is currently working with a large pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Terre Haute area. This company is now in the process of seeking qualified candidates for the position of Packaging Technician.

Qualified applicants will possess at least an ASMET or ASEET degree and have previous experience working with Allen Bradley PLC's.

Candidates for this position MUST have:

-- Experience troubleshooting, maintenance, and fault finding on Allen Bradley SLK 500 PLC's--circuitry, pick and place robots, case erectors and palletizer experience is a huge plus.

-- The ability to work as a project manager as well as realign conveyors

-- The ability to work in a "clean room" environment and have no allergies to penicillin or cephalosporin

-- Previous pharmaceutical or GMP(Good Manufacturing Practices) experience

-- Be comfortable wearing half suit, respirator, and surgical mask
