POSITION PURPOSE
PCC (Project Consolidation Center) Managers are responsible for the overall management, planning, organization and execution of day-to-day operations of the entire PCC. PCC Managers must model excellent customer service to EXPO and Home Depot stores andMAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
PCCManagers are directly responsible for ensuring that store and customer delivery needs are met, delivery service is managed to KPI's, and any store or customer concerns are handled promptly per customer issue resolution guidance. This includes visitingDirectly manage a staff of PCC Assistant Managers/Supervisors and indirectly manage up to 50 hourly PCC associates. This includes selecting, developing, motivating, setting goals and assigning work to staff to ensure their jobs can be performed accuratelyManage relationship with a 3PL onsite delivery agent for all out-bound deliveries. Manage 3PL operated remote cross-dock facilities. Determine optimum outbound mode while balancing service and customers needs.Manage the PCC P&L to control costs and prevent shrink. Responsibilities include forecasting and budget development. PCC Managers must work with finance to develop annual financial plans and associated budgets. Assist with managing inventory levels of PCConsistantly and proactively strive to achieve 100% fill rate, 100% on-time delivery, and 100% completion rate on home delivery while controlling operating costs.NATURE AND SCOPE
Typically reports to Division DirectorAccountable for the management of a department or functional group through subordinate supervisors/managers and for all personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust be eighteen years of age

EDUCATION REQUIRED - 8YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 5CERTIFICATES/LICENSES -
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS -
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree.Retail experience strongly preferred; consumer goods experience preferred.Management of a 3PL with home delivery experience preferred. Experience with special order products also preferred.Strong analytical skills to incorporate logistical, technological, and numerical data into the strategy of Distribution Center management. Proven track record of managing associates at all levels.Excellent computer skills-MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.) Warehouse Mangement Systems (WMS). Leadership skills that lead to effective coaching, developing, and mentoring associates.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
Communication skills-Must be able to address and direct subordinates, associates, peers, business partners and upper management in meetings, presentations, and updates of facility.Read, understand, and explain reports-e.g., P&L, Fill Rate, Freight Costs, etc.Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. Being able to adjust work load based on needs. Ability to recognize need to reprioritize and/or change daily processes as necessary.Able to write/plan budget for DC e.g., following years, volume, operating costs (Payroll, Occupancy, Operations, and Freight).Project management skills including a basic knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
