Operations Manager Warehouse Logistics

A well-established 3rd party Logistics Company has an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong Logistics background. Candidate will have the equivalent of a BA/BS degree in a business discipline with 5+ years of related experience, including 4+ in a managerial/supervisory role. Working with and Managers/Supervisors to direct the daily activities of the Warehouse. Experience must include utilization of up-to-date warehousing and inventory management methods, and processes. Additionally, the ability to read/interpret various manufacturing, distribution, and financial data. Familiar with KPI and Scorecard Management. REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidate should have 8-12 years warehouse/Transportation experience with 4-5 years in Management. Strong customer relations experience required. Familiar with KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and Scorecard Management. Good understanding of Profit/Loss – Strong experience with WMS (warehouse management system). Prefer college degree but will substitute experience. This position will be working with various Operations and Managers/Supervisors to direct the daily activities of Warehousing Operations.Most operations are 24/7 so the right individual must be flexible with his/her schedule.
