A leader is Ocean Export is looking for a top notch Export Documentation specialist. This is a career opportunity for a dependable, accurate and productive individual. Organizational and time management skills will lead you to success. Due to the precise time constraints of the business, a sense of urgency is very important as well as proficient computer skills, some accounting experience. Daily suties will include, but are not limited to: Starting files for various vessels a week or 2 before vessel arrives Tracking cargo Calling customers for bill of lading instructions Close contact with various terminals regarding receipt of cargo, dimensions, weights, etc. Filing necessary documentation with U. S. Customs Familiarity with Customs rules and regulations re: documentation filing Dangerous cargo manifests Inputting bills of lading Rating bills of lading / Invoicing Releasing originals, express releases Suez/Panama Canal Manifest Transmittal Distribution Statement of Cargo Closing files Communicating with customer service/accounting/operationsNote: To be considered, your resume must meet specific position requirements and you must identify either the job title or job code for a specific open position. REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years experience in Ocean Export Documentation. Your approachable personality will allow you to work well with others as well as all levels of personnel. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
