We are currently seeking a Materials Handler at our Phoenix, AZ location.The Materials Handler will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, receiving products, internal distribution of materials, and order management and replenishment for site operations as applicable.Job Description Maintain and monitor appropriate inventory levels. Initiate product requests based on inventory levels using Oracle for inventory re-supply. Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Provide customer service and support in all aspects of Materials Management. Effective troubleshooting and resolution of materials management issues. Receive material orders and ensure all goods are received in an acceptable condition. Train staff in the use of inventory control systems as applicable. Use personal protective equipment (E.g. gloves, lab coats) as specified in the EHS procedures. Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment. Stay informed and comply with all safety regulations as they related to applicable working environments Attend and actively participate in team meetings. Communicate relevant information to appropriate staff including Senior or Supervisor. Ensure effective communication when dealing with team members, leadership team and support resources.
Essential Skills: 1-2 years materials handling experience. High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Computer literacy is a must. Experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus.To apply, visit our on-line hiring center at www.mdsps.com.
