Material Handler / Dell Computer

2nd Shift

Works with all inbound /outbound raw materials for the manufacturing facility. Responsible for helping to perform inventory control including part number identification, inventory counts, completing Internal Move reports.
• Handle parts with or without material handling equipment, requiring safety and delicate handling procedures.
• Ensure all systems sent to teardown are properly routed and transacted.
• Expedite material through the receiving and incoming inspection process to ensure availability for production.
• Assist other personnel to solve part shortage problems.
• Pick up cycle counts and receive the following list: a predetermined list of parts that are incorrect SR, predetermined list of parts that are identified as E&O, list of parts that have been applied for the E&O list but have not been approved.
• Interact with all production, materials, and procurement and distribution personnel.
• Conduct physical counts of reported inventory inaccuracies.

• Applies job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of tasks.
• Interacts regularly with line leads.

REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to communicate effectively with production counterparts to identify problems or concerns with inventory.
• Works on assignments that are routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. • Provide input to management and Production Control in case of part shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
• Ability to share and receive information with materials manager, coordinators, material handlers and stockroom personnel.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
