Material Handler-3rd Shift

Overview: The Material Handler is primarily responsible for the movement and supply of materials within Andrx manufacturing. This position performs basic movements of materials as well as loading, unloading, dispatch, replenishment and cycle counting activities. This position utilizes a bar code based inventory management system for all functions and is responsible for 100% transactional integrity. This position requires the use of various types of material handling equipment to include: swing reach forklifts, electric pallet jacks, electric order pickers and sit down as well as stand up forklifts. Material Handler is expected to adhere to all SOP’s, cGMP’s, company policies and procedures. This position generates reports from ERP system as needed on a daily basis. This position requires a fairly high level of direction and follow-up from the Supervisor.Responsibilities:
Physically handles movement of materials within the manufacturing organization, ensuring timely delivery of materials using various types of material handling equipment.Systematically transacts any physical movements as they occur to maintain a high level of inventory integrity.Coordinates daily production materials ensuring proper availability.Job Requirements
Qualifications:
High School Diploma with 2 years of related experience or combined education & experience.Ability to read, write and understand documentation in English.Must surpass the entry-level scores for the workkeys exams.Ability to verbally communicate in English.Must have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task.Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills.
