Material Expediting Analyst

Monitors production schedules and expedites the flow of materials and parts through production areas. Contacts suppliers to ensure on-time delivery or to advise of changed due dates. Communicates schedules and deadlines to all internal departments and external suppliers as needed.Assist in inventory and purchasing activities, providing a resource for system related problems and liaison between Purchasing and Operations. Provide program management support for all phases of new product introduction (NPI) for WLED. Develop and implement 'supply chain' logistics plans for timely acquisition and delivery of NPI material.

Minimum Requirements:Requires knowledge of purchasing, requirements and logistics systems and practices.Must have the ability to deliver training and have good oral and written communication skillsBachelor's DegreeMust be a team-player and have stellar communication skillsMUST be able to build strategic working relationshipsWorking knowledge of MRPExperience in Supply and DemandMUST be comfortable with the Shop Floor, will be required to have business dealings on the floorMUST be Self-MotivatedOptional Requirements:Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business with a focus on LogisticsKnowledge of Industrial Engineering, Heavy Equipment and Product Groups
