Manager, Domestic TV Distribution -- Broadcast Syndication

The Manager will be responsible for preparing the various financial forecasts and associated performance sensitivity analyses for the 1st Run team. In addition, you will be an active leader in the quarter close and will help the team identify and implement changes to streamline our processes and instill a strong controllership mindset. In this role, you will have extensive interaction with members of the broadcast syndication sales force, senior operating leaders, and other cross-functional team members including sales administration, billings and collections, NBCU Television Studios ("NUTS"), IT, and strategic planning.Essential Functions:
Assist in the preparation of the three-year strategic plan, the annual plan (SI, SII and OP2), and all financial forecasts for the 1st Run business
Prepare financial models to analyze the impact of various performance scenarios - "what-if" scenario models
Prepare monthly financial updates and participate in monthly "Series Sheet Review" meetings with senior management
Manage Profit Projection Models (Ultimates) for all 1st Run shows
Oversee marketing, development, participations, and residuals analyses for the group
Assist with quarterly close procedures, including the review of revenue recognition and reconciliations performed between subsystems and Financial Reporting Systems
Prepare variance analyses from Annual Plan and previous forecasts~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Accounting and/or Finance
Strong computer skills with a minimum of 3 years proficiency, primarily Excel and PowerPointEligibility Requirements:
