Job Description:
Provide general facility maintenace support. Keeping equipment in working condition, performing repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment. Making necessary repairs to building. Perform electrical repairs and installations, and other Miscellaneous errands. This person will be expected to demonstrate a considerable amount of independent judgment and technical and mechanical skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less with the ability to bring into sharp focus while reading a printed form.

Worker is exposed to normal warehouse and outdoor conditions. The warehouse includes hot, cold and humid conditions.

Position Qualification Requirements:

Knowledge:Maintenance Worker II is a specialized, advanced, semi-skilled to highly skilled classification utilizing technical and mechanical knowledge to perform various activities in the Maintenance Department.

Requires High School Degree or equivalent education with an understanding of basic warehouse operations and procedures. Requires problem solving skills and an ability to read and understand procedures, mechanical and technical instructions and drawings.

Experience:One to two years of previous Distribution Center maintenance worker experience.

May be representative, but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.

Computer/terminal, printer, telephone, fax, waste compactor system, cardboard bailer, floor sweeper, hand tools, mechanical drawings and electrical drawings.
