Mission
Assist the Logistics Administration Management function, in partnership with the Logistics Administration Manager, in securing store routines, maintaining basic data quality, efficient ordering and administrative procedures which support lowest possible logistics cost to strengthen the IKEA position as the best home furnishing store in your local marketGoals:
Serve as a trainee and support the logistics administration function through control and monitoring of basic Logistic procedures/batches
Act as an interface to secure administrative routines maintaining consistent stock balance
Administer physical stock movements timely and correctly
Organize regular inventories and oversee range administration
Maintain and set order and distribution methods; secure optimal usage of external/internal order and sales space parameters in the systems
Analyze and evaluate order process results avoiding shortage /overstock situations
Produce follow up and analyzing tools and act as a consultant to the sales team in the order process
Adhere to inventory control procedures
Develop working knowledge of product range and services
Contribute as a member of the Logistics Management team and provide training to other departments to secure Logistics competence
Maintain a clean, organized work area following waste management guidelines
Support the ideas of “The Human Resource Idea” with regard to coworker recruitment, training and development, and leadership.
Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers.
Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS

Computer literacy
Interest in home furnishings
Ability to lift 50 lbs. (25kg) as needed
2-3 years IKEA logistics or administration experience including internal training programs or 3-5 years retail supervisory experience, goods flow/supply knowledge preferred
A clear understanding of, and a passion for IKEA values and principals.
Someone with the proven ability to:Be a dynamic, action oriented team player that is self-motivated and confident in making independent decisions.

Relocate to a majority of IKEA US stores
