Live Haul Driver

Premium Standard Farms is a vertically integrated pork producer, controlling every aspect of the pork production process.

As a Live Haul Driver you will perform any combination of following tasks to operate trucks and/or vehicles of the transportation department.
Help ensure herd health through compliance of Bio-security
Drives gasoline or diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination, straight truck, garbage truck, or vehicle to transport livestock, product, and materials
Drives truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering truck, applies bedding to trailers as needed, placement and pulling of side panels as needed
Complete required paperwork for each load hauled (ATF’s, Trip reports, Evaluation, etc)
Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck condition
Maintains drivers log according to regulations
Assists other workers in a variety of duties

REQUIREMENTS
Preferred minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience with a class A CDL
The employee is required to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, climb, and bend to floor, exert 75 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or, exert 50 to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or, exert up to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects
The employee may encounter: occasional high noise levels, physical hazards, occasional breathing dust, exposure to outdoor climate
