Inventory Control Supervisor

West Cost Beauty Systems is currently seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor for our Benicia distribution center.


Primary Functions & Efforts Required:

Supervise 75+ employees handling branch orders
Supervise inventory control process and department
Assure an accurate warehouse inventory
Interact with other warehouse departments, such as Freight or Shipping, to distribute branch orders
Coordinate and train temporary staff
Process time away sheets and Kronos time sheets within Payroll deadlines
Resolve employees issues concerning pay status or employee relations
Perform general warehouse duties, such as picking, packing, and shipping orders, and restocking pick aisles
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills:

Must be forklift certified within 30-days from start date and will be subject to urinalysis
2 years warehouse experience in a lead or supervisory capacity
2 years of experience with inventory control and or warehouse process.
Effective leadership skills
Computer skills
High School diploma or equivalent plus some education beyond high school

Other Skills & Abilities Required:

Strong communication skills – position interacts frequently with different levels of personnel
Flexible with work schedule; hours can exceed standard schedule depending upon business need
