Intermodal Rate Analyst

The primary responsibilities of this position are the compilation and maintenance of vendor rates as well as preparation and timely rate response to the Account Executives and customer base. Serve as the liaison between Intermodal and other pricing personnel within the Value Added Service division and Werner. Interface with dray carriers and railroads for timely communication of changes to rules, policies and rates that potentially impact Intermodal profitability.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of transportation industry general practices, modes and terminology usually gained through practical experience and on-the-job training. At least 3 years transportation/intermodal experience preffered.
Understanding and management of cost components of Intermodal rate structuring.
