Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative

A. H. Harris & Sons, Inc., one of the country’s largest private distributors of construction materials, has an opening for an Inside Salesperson at its Manchester, New Hampshire outlet. Responsible to the Branch Manager, this position services area contractors either on the phone or at the sales counter, maintains stock on store shelves and in the warehouse, expedites the movement of inventory between branches, and maintenance of equipment and facility. Successful candidate must be a self-motivated team player with strong communication skills and commitment to customer service This position offers competitive wages, health and dental insurance and a 401k plan.

Duties include:

·Assisting walk-in customers with needs
·Servicing incoming calls from area customers
·Processing sales orders and cash transactions
·Loading and unloading trucks
·Processing of incoming shipment records
·Facility and equipment maintainance
·Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
Skills Required:

·Sales and customer service
·Forklift experience preferred
·Computer operation and data input
·Industry / product knowledge a plus
·Sense of personal responsibility – self-activation
