General Warehouse Openings

Summary: Safely handles and transports product within warehouse utilizing established practices by performing the following duties.

Expected Results: Safely handles and transports product. Accurately picks and locates product. Follows guidance communicated by supervision/management. Helps maintain accurate inventory of product. Properly utilizes resources under their control. Establishes goals and objectives in line with NFM quality concepts. Actively strives to make a safe and healthful environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: An essential job function of all jobs at Nebraska Furniture Mart is to attend work as scheduled. NFM is a dynamic organization. Accordingly, the responsibilities associated with this job will change from time to time due to business needs. Staff may be required to perform additional and/or different responsibilities from those outlined here.

Move, Pick, Distribute, and Put-Away Product Using Materials Handling Equipment.

Conducts, Reconciles, and Views WMS Reports Facilitating Accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience

6 months labor or warehouse experience.
Warehouse machine operations experience preferred.
Customer contact experience preferred.
Ability to work in high places.
Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record preferred.

Office/Clerical Experience (Indicate typing, 10 key adder, proofreading and/or data entry requirements)

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability
