Furniture Delivery Drivers: Southlake/Morrow, GA

American Signature Furniture, one of the nation’s leading and fastest growing exclusive furniture retailers is opening a new store in Morrow (Southlake), GA.

The experienced furniture delivery driver along with a professionally trained assistant/helper must provide outstanding and consistent customer service while setting up merchandise in our customer’s homes. They must be able to load the delivery truck according to load list and follow all safety procedures including performance of visual Driver's Checklist.


Drivers are paid on a very competitive hourly basis along with an Incentive Bonus Plan. Potential first year earnings for Drivers working approximately 45 hours per week
in the local area with NO overnight assignments are $40,000 - $45,000.

To qualify, drivers must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma (or GED), must be willing to comply with pre-employment drug testing and background verification, and provide at the time of interview a current motor vehicle record and valid operators license.

Helpers- You will assist Drivers with delivery, setup, and merchandise placement.
Helpers must be at least 18 years of age. Potential first year earnings are $30,000 - $35,000.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
> Verify piece count with Warehouse Leader.
> Deliver merchandise to customer home in an efficient, safe, and courteous manner.
> Must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
> Provide excellent customer service.
> Call dispatcher before and after every stop with completions and/or exceptions.
> Complete route sheet for check in process.
> Obtain proper customer signatures.
> Log delivery problems in detail.
> Process return merchandise.
> Verify MRL (Merchandise Return Log) with Warehouse Leader.
> Assist Warehouse Leader with labeling, pre-wrapping, and staging.
