Immediate openings in the Portland Metro area. This position is responsible for making technical related service calls on Lottery terminals. Major duties include: installing, repairing and servicing lottery terminals at retailer sites; and operating and maintaining a company vehicle. Bilingual English/Korean preferred.Properly maintain and service GTECH equipment at Retailer (customer) locations. Responds to dispatches and drives to customer locations within his or her "zone" to deliver supplies and to install, remove, or repair lottery equipment.
- Responsible for transporting, installing and maintaining GTECH equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.
- Attend driver training and follow GTECH vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of the company vehicle.
- Maintain equipment to promote continuous operation of GTECH equipment.
- Troubleshoot to restore malfunctioning equipment to working order in the field. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning and/or minor adjusting of the malfunctioning component.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with Dispatchers. Accurately report activity, arrival and departure times and problems, details, and resolutions of failures to Dispatch.
- Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts such as paper, ribbons, betslips, etc. and track inventory of these items.
- Deliver basic training to new Retailers or refresher/remedial training to Retailers who may be performing procedures incorrectly, such as changing paper and ribbon.
- Complete basic forms for reporting activities, equipment problems, recommendations for improvements to procedures, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
FIELD SERVICE TECHQualified candidates must have a valid DL with an excellent driving record; be able to lift/carry heavy equipment; work overtime, standby, weekends and holidays; pass a security clearance which includes criminal history, credit history, financial and tax records; and have 6 months work related experience. Bilingual English/Korean or English/Spanish preferred.Competitive salary and flexible benefits package offered.

EOETravel: Majority of time is spent in the field driving from one location to the other servicing terminals.Physical Requirements: Must be able to climb a ladder, and the ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to one hundred (100) pounds for a significant distance (i.e. from a parked vehicle to a point within the Retailer's location or to the rooftop of the retailer's location). Prolonged sitting; dexterity to work with tools; exposure to moving parts and electrical current; may work at heights (rooftop) for installation of equipment; may work in close quarters; may be exposed to inclement weather during some installations.
