Export Manager

TITLE: Export Manager / Compliance

High profile manufacturer has an opportunity for a Facilities Manager who will be responsible for overseeing team that properly classifying products for export, obtains required licenses, and screens all export transactions to ensure compliance company-wide. The Facility Manager will train staff and executive board on export controls, will work closely with vendors to obtain export classifications, and will support the international sales team with international market research, standardization and export licensing for each country that product will be shipped into. This position will also be responsible for overseeing Shipping & Receiving and Material Handling. For the position we require a candidate with several years of export experience and a candidate who has worked on significant Cost Analysis initiatives.
In addition to export requirements the Facility Manager will be actively involved with Product Managers and Legal Counsel to create descriptions for products and ensure that classification requests are responded to.


Qualifications:
BA with 3 years of related business experience, or relevant export compliance experience and education as well as strong organization and excellent communication skills are required. A background in Oracle applications is preferred. Excellent compensation and benefits program.
