Estimator ($35K - $45K) - Baltimore, MD

Estimator Our client, a Baltimore area based world leader in providing services to scientific, technical, and medical publishers, is in need of a local Estimator possessing three or more years experience in printing and multi-color press.

Job Summary
Under general supervision, accurately estimates costs for the production of customer projects, keeps current with production process flows, maintains current estimating standards on all equipment and efficiently plans production methods for given specifications. Provides accurate, timely pricing information to front-end and sales personnel. Estimates, tracks and maintains project plan profitability. Performs other duties as required.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
·Knowledge of computerized estimating.
·Thorough knowledge of the printing process and of all printing production materials, methods, equipment, timelines and processes.
·Strong organization, analytical, problem solving and math skills.
·Ability to work under pressure and to meet short deadlines.

Education and Experience
·Associate's degree or equivalent.
·3+ years' printing experience, including experience in multi-color press.
