EXPORT SPECIALIST

EXPORT SPECIALIST Our company is a world class leader and global distributor of electronic components. We have immediate opportunities available in our new, fully automated and air conditioned Distribution Center in Southaven. (Regulatory) Export Specialist 2nd Shift Only The Export documentation specialist is responsible for creating and/or producing required documentation for trade across international boarders. The chosen candidate must be have the ability to perform the following skills: Compliance and procedural training Approve and validate shipments with regards to customs restrictions Prepare customs documents for international shipments. Follow up on prior shipments Data base updates and maintenance Basic customer service functions 1 + years prior experience in Trade Operations/ Compliance with emphasis on Export. Experience with International customs documents, and trade practices. Knowledge and understanding of courier and freight forwarder services. Knowledge and understanding of HS #s, ECCN #s and License requirements Ability to read and understand Custom Regulations. Ability to work in several different operating/software systems.
