Driver - Company Driver - CDL Driver

Quality Carriers is looking for both Company Drivers and Owner Operators. Please see the two different job descriptions below.

Owner Operator Job Duties:
•Enter macros into Qualcomm to advise your status
•Make sure customer signs delivery receipts
•Make sure wholes are connected to the correct tank at the customer’s yard
•Drive within logging regulations & maintain log book
•Follow all Quality safety guidelines
•Wearing safety gear regardless of weather (PPE)
•Climb tanker ladder approximately 12 feet tall
•Lift or move around whose – approximately 75 lbs
•Place correct placard on tanker
•Call Sky Tank in the event of any accident


Company Driver Job Duties:

•Clime tanker latter approximately 12 feet long
•Lift or move around hoses – approximately 75 lbs
•Follow all Quality safety guidelines
•Call Sky Tank in the event of any accidentJob Requirements
Qualifications:
Be at least 22 years of age
Be able to read, write, understand and speak the English language (French if in French speaking Terminal)
Be authorized to work in the United States (Canada if Canadian Driver)
Meet one of the following minimum experience qualifications (select one):
Have at least one (1) year Over-The-Road experience under a D.O.T. certified carrier with an articulating vehicle in the last two years with 8 months consecutive as full time driver
OR

Equivalent part-time experience with same carrier in last 2 years. Over-The-Road experience equates to 200 miles, unless in metro zone (100 miles), and operating in 3 states. Metro zones: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Diego. Have two (2) years local experience with a D.O.T. certified carrier with articulating vehicles in the last three (3) years. Local experience equates to less than 200 miles
Have no alcohol related charges in a personal vehicle or drug possession convictions in the last 5 years. Have only one conviction in a life time
Have never had an alcohol related conviction while operating a commercial motor vehicle (CMV)
Have no drug distribution related felony charges in the last 20 years
Have no more than 5 jobs in the last 3 years
Have no more than three moving violations or preventable accidents combined within the past three years
No speeding tickets at or over 78 mph or 14 MPH over the posted speed limit in the last 12 months
Have no apparent trend of aggressive driving in past 7 years if new instance (speed, unsafe or other moving violation) within most recent 3 years
Have no disqualifying offenses per the TSA which prohibit me from holding a hazardous materials endorsement or any felony convictions which are substantially related to driving a CMV with HM lading
Have no DOT medical waivers for hands, arms, vision or diabetes
Have no major preventable accidents within the last 3 years with claims over $10,000
Have a weight not to exceed 365 pounds
Only have one Commercial Drivers License (CDL) issued, in State of residence, with Tank and Hazardous Materials endorsements or be willing to get HM endorsement within 90 days
Be clean shaven at all times and able to wear a full/half face respirator
