Distribution Team Member

Department: FacilityJob Summary:
Maintain a positive company image and effectively work in team environment. Perform all functions relating to proper food distribution.Will do the following principle duties and responsibilities:
1. All duties and responsibilities relating to food distribution (reading, labeling).
2. Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
3. Follow proper procedures for packaging and distributing product.
4. Give timely product feedback to Team Leader.
5. Comply with all applicable state health and safety codes.
6. Maintain clean and sanitary operating environment.
7. Correctly identify all products from the MWK.
8. Follow proper procedures for packaging materials.
9. Provide accurate product counts, product orders and complete all required paperwork.
10. Build pallets and maintain consistency in distribution and pallet loading procedures.
11. Understand and follow all sanitation policies and procedures
12. Ensure work areas, orders, supplies, etc. are well organized.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by Facility and Prepared Foods Leadership.Must have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
1. Entry level position.
2. Basic knowledge of math preferred.
3. Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
4. Ability to operate all necessary equipment.
5. Ability to perform physical requirements of position.
6. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
2. In an 8 hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours in a refrigerated area.
3. Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
4. Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
5. Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
6. Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
