Distribution Center / Merchandise Processing
We are currently looking for talented, self-motivated, flexible individuals to fill the Flex-Force Merchandise Processor position at our Newark Distribution Center. Four positions are available!
These positions are perfect for individuals that don’t need to work full-time and are looking for a flexible schedule that fluctuates throughout the month. Typical shift hours are from 6 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. However, the number of work hours/days of the week will vary depending on received merchandise freight and your availability.

This position will be responsible for following standard procedures to process all merchandise coming in to the Processing area. Daily interaction and coordination between area employees and co-workers (i.e., management, trainers) may be required to ensure that all of the merchandise is processed and shipped accurately.
Primary Job Duties:
Merchandise Preparation (i.e., staging freight, verification of information, unpack, sort)
Perform receiving (i.e., detailed receive by case, receive RTV from store)
Perform auditing (i.e., ASN, ticket, hanger)
Ticketing (i.e., request via RF or FW, TOD navigation and research, marking)
Unit sortation, at applicable facilities only (i.e., induct, pack off, complete)
Verify shipment (i.e., ensure all cases/cartons are in the appropriate status, research and confirm/correct variances)
Putaway, for RS and Claims use only (i.e., locate units/cases into Active, Reserve, Consolidation and Defective assigned areas)
Pulls, for RS and Claims use only (i.e., replenishment to stores, consolidations and defectives returned to vendor)
Perform research and/or problem solve in PkMS and RMS (i.e., claims tolerance, item setup)
Utilize available resources (i.e., job aids, Ticket and Hanger Standards, SOPs)
Monitor quality by visual checks and communication with Quality Assurance
Shipping (i.e., sort, consolidate, palletize, change route, stage) Associated Job Duties:

Complete necessary paperwork
Palletize cartons
Clean work area
Coordinate temporary agency staff
Carry out delegated tasks
Carry out plans and time lines as set by the manager
Attend and participate in meetings
