Distribution Center Manager - Hope, Arkansas

We are currently looking for a Distribution Center Manager for our Hope, Arkansas distribution center.

Essential Duties are as follows:
- Create, receive and ship material transfers
- Supervise floor employees (hourly)
- Supervise salary employees (3)
- Responsible for warehouse supplies, including packing, pallets, etc.
- Oversee the upkeep of the distribution center, equipment, parking lot, etc
- Verify incoming invoices are correct
- Enforce shipping and receiving procedures
- Maintain correct inventories by utilizing cycle counts
- Process labor sheets
- Make sure etime is handled properly
- Be a liason between the distribution center and plant
- Assist in loading and unloading of trailers/containers - only when needed
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
- Computer and software proficient - the software can be learned, but computer skills are a must
- Previous supervisory position - preferably experience in dealing with bargain unit employees
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Experience in transportation/logistics
- Communication skills
- Experience in warehousing and inventory control
- Working knowledge of excel, word and outlook
- Flexible in working additional hours plus occasional weekend work
