Distribution Center Manager

Fast-paced retailer seeks exceptional DC manager to direct flow of product from Distribution Center to multi-store locations. The ideal candidate must be a proven performer, possess excellent administrative skills, have proven experience in controlling costs and contributing to the overall profitability of the company. Candidate will possess skills to direct all aspects of operation including merchandise inventory, shipping, and receiving, and maintenance facilities.Responsibilities:Well-timeed receiving and deliveries of product to multi-store locations to maximize sales.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Ability to lead and direct the efforts of others to attain goals
Ability to communicate with all leverls of employee within th eorganization
Quality Control and excellence in efficiency of operations
Ability to hire a top talent team
A wide degree of creativity and latitude will be expercted to increase the performance of the Distribution Center.
REQUIREMENTS
5-7 years proven management experience in transportation and/or warehouse setting.
Intermediate computer skills
Knowledgeable of distribution center's concepts, practices and procedures.
Results Driven, team player
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
