Distribution Branch Manager

Foster Farms Dairy, California’s largest independent and privately owned dairy products producer and distributor has an opening for a Distribution Branch Manager to work out of an independent distribution branch in Salinas, CA.

The position will have supervisory responsibility for the direction of Class A and Class B drivers insuring timely cost effective distribution of refrigerated products along with exceptional customer service. This position will also have responsibility for department safe driving practices, employee safety, productive coordination and communication with production and sales operations.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate qualifications should include 10+ years in the Food products distribution and delivery field with working knowledge of DOT laws, cost effective routing programs, proven skills to manage a small fleet of tractor trailer equipment and straight truck bobtails. Individual must also have the ability to manage and efficiently schedule drivers. This position will also require the ability to maintain effective employee and vehicle safety programs along with local customer relations. A class A or Class B license and exceptional driving record will be helpful.
