Dean Foods Company, a Dallas based food and beverage-company is seeking an experienced Director of Fleet Safety to oversee all aspects of safety and related compliance for the company’s fleet maintenance operations and 12,000-unit fleet.

Responsibilities include assessing, developing and implementing industry-leading programs, policies and procedures regarding compliance with OSHA, FMCSA and DOT regulations, accident investigations, driver qualification, driver/safety training, permitting and licensing.

Extensive travel required.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic leader with detailed knowledge of transportation related safety management.

Position requires excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills in addition to a strong knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and OSHA regulations.

A Bachelors degree, 7+ years experience in a corporate transportation safety/risk environment and CSP or other professional safety designation is required.
