Director, Customer Solutions and Pricing
Ozburn-Hessey Logistics is an energetic, growing logistics provider with over 50 years' experience. Today OHL is ranked as the largest privately held 3PL in the country, providing supply chain management solutions including warehousing, transportation, technology and people. Due to our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Customer Solutions and Pricing in our Brentwood Corporate office. This position will work with Business Development/Sales and Operations leadership team on the design of customer logistical solutions and corresponding pricing of those solutions. Must have expert knowledge of industry specific pricing solutions including tiered, fixed variable, cost plus, transactional, and public pricing models. Must be able to understand and analyze logistical data as supplied by customers to effectively develop profitable pricing solutions. This position will also organize and respond to customer requests for information including final pricing proposals. Some of the duties will be: Price new business opportunities for competitive and profitable solutions; increase external network of technical service providers (automated material handling, print and apply, LTL sortation, etc.) to elevate offerings to customers; develop pricing models to support tiered, fixed variable, cost plus, transactional, and public pricing; partner with Business Development/Sales team to generate logistical solutions for potential customers; make necessary site visits to understand customer needs to assist in logistical solution; enhance and update current RFP process that will better illustrate OHL offering, key improvements, and overall logistical design; develop communication process during solution design and transition to implementation team; facilitate necessary meetings during the solution process; work with corporate and operations to generate feedback on solution before submitting to customer; request customer meetings with business development to acquire necessary data for logistical solution and pricing.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public; be PC literate in Microsoft Word, Project, PowerPoint, MS Access and Excel with emphasis on financial analysis; have strong written, oral communication, and time management skills as well as excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. They will also have a strong ability to manage multiple tasks with confidence, influence others, work as part of a team, and act as a catalyst for change. Minimum educational level: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year College or university. Master's degree (MBA) preferred; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
