Delivery Associate

A delivery associate delivers fresh flowers, plants and supplies during the evening and early morning hours throughout New York, Massachusetts, Vermont and Connecticut. Our customers are retail florists and supermarkets and the deliveries are made on our own fleet of refrigerated box trucks. Each delivery route is pre- planned and pre-loaded for the drivers.

Clean Working Environment: We insist upon clean, professional, friendly, and safe working conditions. Although the delivery staff operates overnight, all members of the Seagroatt Riccardi team must dress professionally. Presentation is important; every individual working for Seagroatt Riccardi is a reflection of the corporation as a whole. Only sharp, well-groomed, and charismatic people need apply.
REQUIREMENTS
Delivery Personnel will be primarily responsible for:

* Timely delivery of regular shipments of flowers, plants, and supplies
* A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
* Accurately maintaining daily log book info. and pre-trip vehicle inspections
* Proper handling and placement of customer orders at all times
* Respecting customer property and merchandise
* Maintaining a neat and clean work area inside the delivery truck
* Maintaining professionalism and communication on the road
* Appropriate and safe vehicle operation at all times
* Collection of COD payments when applicable
* Necessary time spent in training on 2-3 delivery routes
* Some heavy lifting
* Additional assigned duties not limited to this brief list
* All candidates must pass pre-employment drug screening to be eligible for the position
