Customs Entry Writer

We have an IMMEDIATE need for an experienced Entry Writer for our client, an International Freight Forwarding and Logistics Giant, encompassing Air and Ocean freight for all types of Commodities.Working in a fun, fast paced team environment you will perform high volume customs clearance processes on key customs brokerage accounts.Entry Writer will manage assigned accounts,provide excellent customer service, facilitate freight delivery and customer billing, use problem solving skills for timely pick up and delivery, as well as quote duty and contractual rates.Responsible for correct customs entries for clearance of in-bound cargo through U.S. Customs and facilitating delivery of freight to customers.

REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities of position includes collection and entry of all data required to produce Customs entry/entry summary and single entry bonds; carrier delivery orders, billing invoices and other governmental agency documents, transmit required data for US Customs and other governmental agency release and delivery, make arrangements for prompt pick-up of cargo after Customs release with transportation companies. 4+ years working as an import coordinator / entry writer at a customs brokerage a plus.
